Fisheries Research & Development Corp

The FRDC has become widely recognised as the leading Australian agency concerned with planning, funding and managing fisheries research and development.

The FRDC does not undertake research itself; rather it identifies research and development needs - and the means of addressing them - through a planning process and by contracting with research providers.

Stakeholders in the FRDC are the fishing industry; the governments of the Commonwealth, the states and the territories; and the people of Australia.
